Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks a skilled ServiceNow On-Premise Infrastructure Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead architecture, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of a self-hosted ServiceNow environment.

The role focuses on managing the underlying OS, databases, and network topology to ensure security and high availability. Responsibilities include upgrading and patching, configuring load balancers, and enforcing security standards while collaborating with AI initiatives to enhance incident response

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• 5+ years IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 2+ years managing ServiceNow in a self-hosted/on-premises setup.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI poly eligibility.
• Background and drug screening successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and provision ServiceNow application servers and database servers within on-premise or secure air-gapped environments.
• Install, configure, and provision ServiceNow mid-servers within on-premise or secure air-gapped environments.
• Manage and maintain the underlying Operating Systems hosting the ServiceNow stack.
• Administer relational databases with clustering, replication, backups, performance tuning and DR processes.
• Plan and execute ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and hotfixes on self-hosted servers with minimal downtime.
• Configure load balancers (F5, HAProxy), reverse proxies, and firewalls; ensure STIG/RMF compliance and PKI/CAC integrations.
• Monitor node and database performance, troubleshoot latency, and scale resources to meet mission needs.
• Assist system owners with maintaining status documentation and operations.
• Coordinate with AI initiatives team to support predictive operations and automated incident response.
• Other duties as assigned.
