Job summary

Econolite Group, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure for Centracs Mobility on customer on-premises sites. You will also assist with cloud DevOps for hosted environments and collaborate with customer IT teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments.

You will work across Linux and Windows servers, implement CI/CD pipelines, and help advance security and compliance while enabling scalable, service-oriented platforms for ITS solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience running Kubernetes outside a managed cloud service; installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Background with Docker and Helm; networking fundamentals; Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Scripting in Bash and PowerShell; Azure DevOps pipelines or similar CI/CD tools; cloud experience (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration; security policy management including SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on customer on-premises environments.
• Package and deploy Centracs Mobility services using Helm with repeatable configurations.
• Build tooling, runbooks, and documentation for on-premises deployments (air-gapped networks).
• Provide on-prem platform services (ingress, certificates, storage, secrets, identity, messaging).
• Manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL provisioning, backups, HA, and upgrades.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting; diagnose and resolve issues on customer sites or remotely.
• Collaborate with customer IT and network teams on prerequisites (DNS, firewall, remote access).
• Apply security hardening, patching, SOC 2 compliance; assist cloud DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
