Rampant Technologies is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure that supports mission‑critical applications. This role focuses on Linux hardening, Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure as code.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce security best practices including IAM and secrets management, and collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux admin with production experience and automation scripting.
• Proficient in installing and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Familiar with CNCF projects Prometheus, Helm, and containerd.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud providers.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Docker and container image management.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Understanding of security best practices including secrets management and Linux hardening.
• Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure supporting mission-critical apps.
• Administer Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, and IaC to ensure repeatability and version control.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines; enforce IAM and secrets management; participate in on-call rotations.
• Document architecture and operational procedures; evaluate new tools; contribute to team direction.
