Monarch Mountain in Salida, CO is seeking winter seasonal workers to maintain slopes, parks, and surrounding areas. The role includes operating heavy equipment, grooming tasks, and assisting other departments while ensuring a high-quality guest experience.

Pay starts at $23.00–$28.00 hourly with a Monarch Season Pass and other benefits. Work outdoors at elevations up to 12,000 ft with variable weather and long shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 and legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Ability to work graveyard shifts and endure mountain conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and operate equipment per manuals and procedures.
• Keep ski runs, base areas and parking lots in top condition.
• Grooming tasks: packing, tilling, blading, snow moving, repair work.
• Load/unload supplies; assist other departments as needed.
• Follow safety rules and communicate equipment issues clearly.
• Collaborate with the Monarch team to ensure guest experience.
