Sammons Industrial, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced On-Highway Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and rebuild heavy‑duty truck components and systems including diesel engines, transmissions, drive axles, brakes, and electrical systems. You’ll ensure safety, accuracy, and compliant service records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of heavy‑duty truck/diesel repair experience.
• Strong diesel mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability with major truck components.
• Valid driver’s license, own tools, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and travel/on-call flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty truck components and systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, failure analysis, component removal, repairs, and related work.
• Maintain safety and accurate service records; manage parts and company equipment.
