Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Material Coordinator to own material readiness on the production floor. You will walk schedules, verify kit status, and ensure parts are staged ahead of need.

You’ll manage kanban replenishment, bin levels, and material flow from receiving to the line while coordinating with forklift operations. You will actively detect shortages, collaborate with Production to adjust sequences, and keep 5S standards across staging areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a warehouse associate or floor-based manufacturing/warehouse experience
• Hands-on experience with kitting, staging, or kanban replenishment
• Familiarity with inventory/WMS/ERP tools for look-ups and transactions
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office for basic tracking and reporting
• Experience with lot/serial/batch tracking and material traceability

Responsibilities

• Walk the production schedule daily and verify kit status for upcoming builds
• Flag at-risk builds by checking shortages against the schedule
• Coordinate with Production leads on build sequence changes and re-prioritize kitting
• Stage and deliver kits to the production floor in correct location and quantity
• Monitor kanban card/bin levels and trigger replenishment before stockouts
• Verify min/max kanban levels on routes and ensure accuracy
• Maintain kanban locations, labeling, and card integrity
• Right-size kanban quantities based on consumption patterns
• Perform cycle counts and spot-checks on materials locations
• Receive, put away, and transact material movements on time
• Maintain lot/serial/batch traceability through handling and labeling
• Keep staging and kanban areas organized and audit-ready (5S)
• Own the physical flow from receiving to production line
• Coordinate pickups/deliveries with forklift and material handling equipment
• Work with Shipping/Receiving to resolve delays before line impact
• Identify bottlenecks and propose fixes in kitting/kanban flow
• Apply Lean/5S to reduce walk time and waste
• Standardize kitting checklists and kanban controls across shifts
• Communicate status to Production and Supply Chain leadership daily
• Train material associates on kitting standards and floor procedures
• Escalate shortages with clear, specific information
