Job summary

JCB North America seeks a Safety Technician to support OSHA compliance and environmental responsibilities on the Pooler, GA manufacturing floor. The role partners with the EHS team to ensure safe operations across shifts, focusing on incident investigations, training, and record-keeping.

You will contribute to sustainability efforts, prepare leadership reports, and guide contractors with health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years' related experience in general industry manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work 6:00am-6:00pm Friday-Sunday (Weekend Shift).
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for OSHA programs and standards in general industry manufacturing.
• Support in the development and updates of OSHA and Environmental policies, programs and standards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver EHS performance reports for leadership.
• Support sustainability and recycling initiatives.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits; communicate findings.
• Provide safety and health guidance to employees and contractors.
• Train employees on forklifts and PITs.
• Identify at risk behaviours and conditions.
• Develop PowerPoint and Excel documents; maintain records.
