Job summary

JCB North America is seeking an EHS Manager to lead and administer our Environmental Health and Safety programs at the Pooler, GA campus. You will implement safety initiatives, ensure OSHA compliance, and foster a culture of safe operations across manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates bring a 5–7+ year track record in EHS within manufacturing, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to lead training and incident response efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Safety field or equivalent.
• 5–7+ years EHS experience in manufacturing environments.
• Pass drug screen, background check and pre-employment tests as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA compliance and JCB health and safety program adherence.
• Lead for specific safety programs, training and implementation.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety systems and engage employees to reduce hazards.
• Collaborate with employees to identify improvements via SWO, Hazard Recognition, Ergonomic Evaluations.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits; generate and communicate findings.
• Provide day-to-day technical safety advice to employees and contractors.
• Serve as incident commander during fire or medical emergencies.
