Ace Hardware is seeking an Hourly Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee department performance, coach associates, ensure well-stocked shelves, accurate pricing, and clean displays.

You will run roughly 90% of shifts as MOD, supervise team members, conduct shift meetings, manage inventory, execute merchandising strategies, and uphold service standards. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods is required.

Competenze

• 1+ year of retail experience, preferably in hardware or home improvement.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of department products or willingness to learn.
• Forklift certification and propane certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily operations of assigned department(s) with stocked shelves and current pricing.
• Ensure planogram integrity and seasonal resets are on schedule.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Store Manager on orders or overstocks.
• Serve as MOD, ensuring service levels and associate performance during shifts.
• Lead shift huddles, assign roles, and communicate store priorities.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve concerns or escalate when needed.
• Train and guide associates; uphold store standards and teamwork.
• Execute merchandising and promotional strategies, maintaining clean displays.
