Job summary

Language Services Associates seeks a telephonic interpreter for Arabic in our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will handle on-demand calls and facilitate communication across medical, legal, and customer service settings.

Requirements include full fluency in English and Arabic, tech proficiency with web platforms, email, and Word, and a quiet interpreting space. 1+ year of professional interpreting preferred; industry certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
