Job summary

Target is hiring an On‑Demand Guest Advocate who will help create an inviting, efficient shopping experience for guests in our stores. You can choose shifts through the myTime scheduling app, with a flexible work pattern that fits your life while supporting a fast-paced retail environment.

You will participate in orientation and training to prepare you for duties such as assisting guests, handling checkout, and explaining loyalty benefits.

• Willing to educate guests about products and services.
• Able to use handheld scanners and tech devices.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests and provide a warm, helpful interaction at 10ft and 4ft
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support peers and adapt to business needs to ensure an excellent guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest satisfaction and loyalty
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety procedures
• Promote Target loyalty programs and assist with sign-up and access
• Inform guests about Wallet features and other Target App services
• Handle returns and assist with order pickup or drive-up as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with stock during open hours
• Follow safety policies and de‑escalate situations in collaboration with leaders
• All other duties based on business needs
