Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) in California. You will help guests, manage checkouts, and promote loyalty programs while building a welcoming store experience.

The role offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to pick up work via the myTime scheduling app, with expectations to respond to contact and maintain regular participation. As an On-Demand TM, you are not tied to a posted weekly schedule and may choose shifts that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in helping guests or customers in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with handling cash and operating point-of-sale equipment.
• Team oriented with a proactive attitude to assist others.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues to ensure smooth shopping.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, maintaining safety standards.
• Promote Target loyalty benefits and support sign-up and usage.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with store needs as required.
