Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) in California to create a welcoming guest experience and support checkout, returns, and store services. You’ll enjoy a personalized schedule and respond to store needs with reliability and enthusiasm.

The role includes onboarding through a welcome orientation, then using the myTime app to select shifts while upholding loyalty programs, service standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Comfort with using scheduling apps and store policies (myTime).

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft zones with a welcoming interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate a service culture and follow safety policies and procedures.
