Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member (Guest Advocate) in the United States for a role with flexible shifts and an hourly wage starting at $18 per hour, up to $27 per hour. You will greet customers, help them find items, process transactions, and contribute to a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet:
• 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave
• 4ft: greet the guest,smileandinitiatea warm, helpful interaction
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently,accuratelyand in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time whilemaintainingguest service and accuracy.
• Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, storeactivitiesand events.
• Know and speaktothe benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest andassistwithapplication, sign-up, andsign inas needed.
• Be familiar with all fulfillment services, and know how to direct the guest to enroll,activateand use them.
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the other features and offerings within the Target App.
• Attempt every return and follow register prompts,partneringwith immediateleaders as needed to help solveissuesfor the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Partnerwithleaders as needed to de-escalate any situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Deliver easy andaccurateservice to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter free work area (including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers).
• Stock supplies during storeopenhours while being available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.
• Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws.
• All other dutiesbasedon business needs.
