ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with your schedule varying based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app. We require your active engagement in picking up and working shifts, responding to contact attempts, and maintaining regular attendance (minimum of once every 4 weeks, with some flexibility for personal circumstances). Effective December 2024, you must work at least once every 5 months to avoid termination.

Upon being offered a position, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and training will be required. Afterward, shifts can be picked up on the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on delivering exceptional guest service, engaging with guests, resolving concerns, and promoting store services and benefits, including loyalty programs and digital features like Wallet and the Target App.

Key skills developed include guest communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Delivering excellent guest service and greeting guests authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation
• Using store tools and products to assist guests
• Processing returns, de-escalating issues, and supporting order pick-up and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean work area and supporting safety and compliance
• Supporting cash operations and other duties as needed
