ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required.

Regular attendance is necessary; you must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If unable to work once every 4 weeks due to personal circumstances, flexibility can be granted, but you must respond to contact attempts. You will be terminated if you do not work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024).

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and short-term training schedule is required. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.

Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adapting to different situations, promoting store benefits, and assisting with digital services.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Prioritizing guest service by delivering the service standard
• Greeting guests authentically and creating a welcoming environment
• Observing body language and verbal cues to assist guests
• Engaging with guests to understand their needs
• Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
• Scanning and bagging items efficiently and accurately
• Minimizing wait times while maintaining service quality
• Promoting Target Loyalty programs and digital features
• Handling returns and partner with leaders for de-escalation
• Supporting order pick-up, drive-up, and registry services
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Working safely and supporting compliance and safety policies
• Supporting cash office processes as needed
