ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Regular engagement by picking up and working shifts is required, with a minimum of four hours every 4 weeks, and at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to avoid termination.

Successful candidates will attend a Target Welcome orientation and participate in structured training. Afterward, shifts are scheduled through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on guest experience, exceeding expectations through interaction and recovery, promoting store services, and making shopping quick and easy.

Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, assisting, and thanking guests
• Observe guest cues to offer assistance, and tailor interactions accordingly
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve issues
• Efficiently scan, bag, and process transactions while maintaining food safety standards
• Minimize guest wait times and promote loyalty programs
• Assist with order pick-up, Drive Up, and registry services
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Support safety, compliance, and cash handling procedures

Basic Skills and Requirements:

• Cash handling and register operation
• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds with assistance
• Reliable attendance and active engagement every 4-6 months
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments
