ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app, and you are expected to actively respond to contact attempts and work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Failure to do so may result in employment termination. Starting December 2024, this period reduces to 5 months.

Your ability to communicate and work flexibly according to store needs is essential for success in this role.

Upon being offered the position, attendance at a Target orientation and participation in a short-term training schedule are required. Afterwards, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
Guest Advocates focus on welcoming guests, exceeding service expectations, and promoting store services and digital solutions to foster loyalty. They are empowered to make shopping quick and easy at various points in the store, including checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and order pickup.

Skills developed in this role include effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge. Typical responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, operating scanners and POS systems, maintaining a clean work area, supporting guest services, and adhering to safety and compliance standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidates enjoy working in a lively environment, engaging with guests, and providing excellent service. They should be enthusiastic, helpful, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking while maintaining a positive attitude. Prior experience is not mandatory as training will be provided.

Additional requirements include handling cash transactions accurately, lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds, working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and actively engaging with shifts every 4 weeks (or 5 months from December 2024).
