Fireclay Partners is seeking experienced senior operators for a flexible consulting role. This position involves engaging with private equity on specific deals leveraging your expertise in industrial distribution.

The ideal candidate has at least 15 years of experience in distribution, with a strong network of industry contacts and the ability to provide valuable insights and operational due diligence on target companies.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years or more in distribution with direct branch level P&L.
• Familiarity with inventory economics and vendor consolidation.
• Existing network with founders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide market intelligence on targets and competitive landscape.
• Make introductions to founders and executives.
• Review confidential information for operational fit.
• Participate in pitches relevant to your subsector.
• Provide operational due diligence input.
