Job summary

Boston Collegiate Charter School is seeking an in-house substitute to support daily classroom activities and school operations. The role requires presence on campus and collaboration with staff, families, and students to sustain a rigorous, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting preferred.
• Be able to speak authentically about the imperative for diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools.
• Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• On-campus presence 7:00-4:00pm daily, subbing up to 6 periods out of 7, including pull-out testing services for students with IEPs.
• Assist the Operations Team with general daily tasks and duties requested by the Operations Manager/Director of Operations.
• Hold students accountable to academic and behavioral expectations.
• Contribute to school and position-based teams to support school goals.
• Support with administrative tasks as needed.
