Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking experienced nursing faculty to teach Clinical, Lab and Theory on campus. The role involves facilitating student learning, applying diverse teaching methods, and aligning assessments with program outcomes.

You will contribute to curriculum development and uphold the college’s standards for nursing education. The position requires an active RN license, an MSN degree, and at least two years of clinical RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state as required by State Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment that facilitates learning and achieving desired student outcomes.
• Implements teaching strategies appropriate to learner needs, desired outcomes, content, and context.
• Helps students develop as nurses and internalize the values and behaviors expected of nurses.

• Maintains professional knowledge to help students prepare for contemporary nursing practice.
