Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking on-campus Nursing faculty to teach Clinical, Lab and Theory. The role involves engaging in the full scope of the academic nurse educator duties, curriculum development, and evaluation, under state and federal regulatory guidelines.

The position requires an active RN license in the respective state, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, and at least two years of clinical RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active, current RN license in the applicable state.
• MSN degree required; DNP preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development across clinical, lab, and theory settings.
• Apply diverse teaching strategies to meet learner needs and outcomes.
• Assess student learning and inform course improvement based on data.
• Develop and implement program assessments and PSLOs.
• Lead curriculum development and evaluation within regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in scholarship and professional development as faculty.
