Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks nursing faculty to teach Clinical, Lab and Theory on campus in Las Vegas. The role involves engaging in the full scope of the academic nurse educator responsibilities, curriculum development, assessment, and scholarship.

This on-campus position requires active RN licensure, an MSN (DNP preferred), and at least two years of clinical RN experience. You will help students prepare for contemporary nursing practice and contribute to the College’s mission.

Qualifications

• Active, Current, Unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state.
• Minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); DNP preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates learning and achieving student outcomes.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies suited to learner needs and contexts.
• Guide students in developing professional nursing values and behaviors.
• Assess student learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Promote continuous quality improvement through program assessments.
