Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant coaching experience with assigned sport(s).
• Technical expertise and knowledge of swimming & diving coaching, training, and program management at the college level.
• Experienced leadership skills and effective interpersonal communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues.
• Proven ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and retain student-athletes consistent with institutional and NCAA Division III philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply, and maintain compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and policies.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and take initiative on matters of significance.

Responsibilities

• Coach, instruct, and condition swimming & diving student-athletes in fundamentals and strategy.
• Plan daily practices and lead event trainings.
• Oversee scheduling, travel, and facility management for the program.
• Coordinate with athletics staff and admissions on roster building and recruiting.
• Support fundraising efforts and raise program visibility on campus and in the community.
