Job summary

Washington State University seeks an Apartment Operations Coordinator to manage the apartment services office, supervise staff, and guide residents through contracts, transfers, and turnovers. You will liaise with Custodial and Auxiliary Facilities Services to support the resident experience and ensure policy compliance.

The role requires strong communication, public speaking, and teamwork, with a full-time 12-month appointment on the Pullman campus. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leasing office or living group experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work regular hours and some evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the apartment services office serving 1,800+ students and families.
• Supervise apartment services staff and coordinate with Custodial and Auxiliary Facilities Services.
• Advise residents one-on-one and support the resident experience; manage contract assignments, transfers, and terminations.
• Collaborate with campus partners and communicate effectively to ensure smooth turnover operations.
