Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus homes and care for about 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading devotions, and budgeting/reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
