Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on‑campus student homes and guide a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting with household reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple requirement with stability.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Vehicle driving eligibility for student transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism for role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
