Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role provides housing and meals on campus while supervising a group of 8–13 students, with duties spanning daily supervision, scheduling, and wellness support.

The two-person team will follow a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and may transition to a placed houseparent role, living with the same group of students long-term. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or in youth-facing roles.
• Two-person, married couple with at least two years of marriage.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications as needed and monitor wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational planning.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
