Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervise 8–13 students, and provide care, guidance, and development-focused activities.

Initial duties cover nine days on, three off, with a transition to a Placed Houseparent role in a single home. The position offers comprehensive benefits and housing, and requires a two-year marriage, two earners, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning/developing activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
