Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live on campus in student homes, supervising about 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role covers daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, devotionals, and campus reporting. It starts with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential progression to a placed houseparent

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
