Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students, providing guidance, supervision, and a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervising students daily, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27+ required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and escort students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
