Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites a married couple to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus, living in student homes and providing care, supervision, and guidance for about 8–13 students.

This two-person role includes leading daily activities, coordinating routines, supervising safety, coordinating devotions and Sunday Chapel, and eventually moving into a placed houseparent assignment with a stable group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
