Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. The pair will live in student homes, supervise 8–13 students, and guide daily activities, routines, and devotions while supporting academic and emotional growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, wellness checks, transportation planning, and budgeting. Eligible couples receive comprehensive benefits and housing as part of total compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
