Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples for Full‑time Flex Houseparent roles. You will reside in on‑campus homes, mentor a group of 8–13 students, and help manage daily routines and activities to support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.

Role requires two-year married status, both spouses aged 27+, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation and training are provided; comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27+.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to become certified to drive student vans.
• No smoking or weapons on campus; alcohol not permitted during duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
