Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples for full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus homes and supervise groups of 8–13 students. The role combines caregiving, supervision, and program planning to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both 27+, and pass a safe, duty-driven environment with driving responsibilities and devotions. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
