Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents (a married couple) to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. The role emphasizes creating a family-like, structured environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Couples work a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with later transition to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work as a couple in a two-person role.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
