Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparent positions. Couples live in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, helping create a structured, family-like living environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, coordinating activities, administering medications, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
