Qualifications

Must complete Cashier Training and pass final test.
Must be able to read and comprehend policies and procedures for safety and University rules.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

Count, wrap, and verify money with accuracy.
Open on time and maintain published meal service hours.
Operate electronic terminals and log cash transactions accurately.
Prepare a manual Check Out Form to report monies and account for overage/shortage.
Interact with customers quickly and politely, addressing concerns to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and reporting areas.
Enforce dining rules and policies and report violations to management.
May assist with cleaning/dining room duties and other related tasks as assigned.
