Job summary

As the sole developer on the team, you will handle development, troubleshooting, and production support for data warehousing, integrations, and reporting applications, engaging with multiple departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, PowerShell, and Python; ETL pipelines across Oracle, AD, and APIs.
• Git version control experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling principles, and ETL best practices.
• Must communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• This position functions as the sole developer on the team; able to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement database solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Design database structures, tables, and relationships based on data modeling.
• Monitor and optimize performance; fine-tune queries and indexing.
• Establish robust security measures to protect data.
• Ensure scalability considering data volume and concurrency.
• Perform backups, updates, and patches for stability.
• Collaborate with Central ITS and other units on reporting and data integrations.
• Create and maintain documentation for data warehousing and architecture.
