Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on-campus student homes, supervise 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Two-spouse role requires at least two years of marriage and ages 27+, with duties including daily supervision, driving to activities, budgeting, and leading devotions. Comprehensive benefits and housing are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
