Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full‑time Flex Houseparents—an on-campus two-person role for married couples. You will live in student homes and support 8–13 students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

Initial duties include daily supervision, scheduling, mentoring, and budgeting; you’ll later transition to a placed home with your group. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, insurance, and training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational events
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
