Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8-13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes supervising, budgeting, driving to activities, leading devotions, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth.
• Two-year married couple required; both spouses age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain driving certification for student transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities; plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
