Job summary

The California State University, San Bernardino's Art and Design Department seeks a Student Assistant for the Visual Resource Center on the San Bernardino campus. You will support office operations under supervision, handling clerical duties and coordinating documentation.

The role is part-time, on-site, with daytime hours during the academic year. Applicants must be CSU students, maintain GPA requirements, and be eligible to work in the United States. Compensation is $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• CSU student status required.
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA or greater per semester; enrolled at CSUSB at least halftime.
• International students must have full-time enrollment.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Payroll requires a Social Security Card.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for the Department of Art & Design Visual Resource Center (VRC).
• Communicate with guests via verbal, written and electronic correspondence.
• Organize and track records of all documentation submitted to and processed by the Department of Art & Design.
• Logging all incoming and outgoing paperwork.
• Maintain files (creating, updating and organizing).
• Assist with clerical functions for the Art & Design VRC.
• Making deliveries to university departments and programs.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
