Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking Adjunct Instructors for the School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics (SETA) on our Manchester, NH campus. Spring 2027 start for in-person courses, with potential for course development and reporting to the Associate Dean for SETA.

We invite applications from those with a passion for teaching and engineering, including candidates with expertise in Strength of Materials, Electrical Machines, and Engineering Prototypes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Teaching experience at the college level or training/mentoring of industry professionals is preferred.

The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics (SETA) is looking for Adjunct Instructors for our engineering program. This in-person teaching opportunity will begin Spring 2027 on our main campus in Manchester, NH. You may have the opportunity for course development. You will report to the Associate Dean for SETA.

We are in search of candidates for the courses below. You are welcome to apply if you have expertise in just one subject area. Course availability and assignments are subject to scheduling and enrollment needs and are not guaranteed.

Compensation

The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
