Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member in our Hospitality department for Spring 2027. You will teach an undergraduate hospitality course, develop syllabi, facilitate discussions, and use Brightspace LMS to deliver instruction and communicate with students.

We seek educators with terminal degree or master's with 5+ years industry experience; teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Business Administration or a related field; or a Master's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as scheduled and develop course syllabi, facilitate class discussions, and grade assignments.
• Use the university's Brightspace learning management system for course delivery and communication with students.
• Collaborate with full-time faculty members to ensure curriculum consistency and contribute to program assessment efforts.

Join Southern New Hampshire University as an Adjunct Faculty member in our Hospitality department this Spring 2027.

In this role, you will report to the Dean of the School of Business and teach an undergraduate hospitality course. We are looking for educators and industry professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality instruction, inspiring student engagement, and assessing learning in meaningful ways that align with program outcomes.

Courses available to teach:

• HOS432: Hospitality Facilities and Operations Management (Tuesday: 2 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.)

What you'll do:

Compensation: The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
