Job summary

Metropolitan Jewish Health System in New York is seeking an On Call RN Supervisor to lead Call Center staff, coordinating clinical and non-clinical issues within our hospice programs. You will provide telephonic interventions and guidance consistent with the Plan of Care, ensuring timely and compassionate patient support.

The role requires New York State RN licensure and hospice nursing experience; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Three years hospice nursing experience required or preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• 2-5 years hospice experience/on call required.
• New York State RN license is required.
• NY State license preferred.
• Current CHPN certification preferred.

The On Call RN Supervisor provides leadership, support, and guidance to Call Center staff for clinical/non clinical issues and situations. The Supervisor elevates complex issues to Team Manager, AOC or Hospice MD on call. The RN Supervisor also provides quality professional telephonic intervention to patients based on the Plan of Care.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN or BS degree preferred
