R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking a Train Crew Member based in Lebanon, Tennessee to operate trains and support yard and road operations.

The role emphasizes safety, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork across shifts. You’ll perform engine operation, track and equipment maintenance, and adhere to FRA/OSHA/DOT rules while progressing toward locomotive engineering duties. A strong work ethic and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Driver's License required; basic reading and math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to work with a team.
• Ability to develop teamwork across all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all phases of safe daily operation of trains.
• Operates equipment per company policies including safety and DOT requirements.
• Operate track switches, couple cars, and work on freight trains in yard and on the road.
• Move and align rail equipment to build trains.
• Multitask safely with pulling, controlling, and maneuvering equipment.
• Grow into locomotive engineering duties as responsibilities increase.
• Subject to random alcohol and drug testing per FRA guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
