R. J. Corman Railroad Company is seeking a Train Crew Member based in Lebanon, TN. The role involves assisting in all phases of safe train operations, operating equipment per company policies, and potentially advancing to locomotive engineering duties.

Candidates must have a driver’s license, be mechanically inclined, and able to read and perform basic math. On-call, travel within the region, and strict safety/testing protocols apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be mechanically inclined with basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to develop teamwork with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe daily operation of trains.
• Operate equipment per policies on safety, FRA/OSHA, and DOT requirements.
• Operate track switches; couple cars in yard and on the road with heavy travel.
• Move and align rail equipment to build trains.
• Multi-task safely: pull, control, and maneuver onto/off equipment.
• Increase responsibilities, including locomotive engineering duties over time.
• Subject to random alcohol and drug testing per FRA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
