Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Telecommunications Technician for an upcoming proposal effort supporting Fleet Readiness Center East (FRC East) at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. This is a PT/on-call position.

The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing voice and data communications systems, including PBX/Avaya equipment, cabling, and related hardware, with a security clearance requirement for Confidential level.

Qualifications

• Experience with Avaya Aura CM-7+ and PBX/PABX installations.
• Certification in Avaya Communication Manager 6.x or higher, or 7+ years PBX/PABX experience.
• Experience installing structured Cat 5 and above cabling.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair voice and data communications systems.
• Run cables and terminate connections for key telephone equipment.
• Maintain and repair PBX and Avaya systems.
