Pineywoods Community Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher – Non-Degreed, Degreed, Certified to support classroom instruction across grades. Certified teachers earn about 125 per day and join a team dedicated to maintaining learning continuity when the regular teacher is absent.
Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, supervising students, managing behavior, taking attendance, and collaborating with staff to adapt curriculum.

Substitute Teacher � Non-Degreed, Degreed, Certified
Certified Teacher $125 per day
Provide students with appropriate learning activities, instruction, and supervision by implementing the lesson plans as directed by the absent teacher, principal, or other responsible staff.
Minimum Education - High school diploma/GED, some college hours, or associate degree
Experience managing groups of students and providing instruction, or related work experience
Direct the work of assigned instructional aide(s) if applicable.
Personal computer and peripherals; standard instructional equipment; [P.E. teachers: automated external defibrillator (AED)]
Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Frequent walking
Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may lift and move textbooks and classroom equipment
Work inside, may work outside; regular exposure to noise
Maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours
